A BIRTHDAY TREAT
Family Bonding Moments
This was my Mom’s birthday. Only in moments like this where we a small family would gather around, go out to bond and celebrate another life blessing given by our Creator. It was just us, my dad, me, and my mom, “the star”. We also brought along my uncle, aunt and my godchild. It was a perfect day and a better way to spend my Mom’s 61st birthday was to celebrate it here at Cebu Westown Lagoon.
LOCATION
Cebu
Westown Lagoon was located at FF Cruz Moonlight St . ,
Subangdaku NRA Mandaue
City . Who would’ve
thought that this place could be found in the heart of a bustling city? It sits
right beside MO2 Restobar and very close to a shopping mall, restaurant and a
hospital. Yes, you heard me, very convenient indeed.
From
Mactan Cebu International
Airport , it would take
about 20-30 minutes (traffic situation varies) to get to this place. Taxi cabs
(in white, with Php30.00 flag-down rate) and airport taxi cabs (in yellow, with
Php60.00 flag-down rate) were always available to take you in this place. For
more details, log on to www.cebuwestownlagoon.com.
THE RESORT
The
place was very accessible and ideal for families and barkadas who wanted to bond in a place closer to home. The fees here
were very affordable. It projects a family friendly feel and I’m pretty sure
kids, mostly, and those kids-at-heart would enjoy it here. This Aztec themed place
has water pool for kids and adults, Water
Park for kids, pool bar, and
playground for kids, restaurant, and huge slide for those fearless guests and
also a room for those who wanted to stay for the night.
Cebu
Westown Lagoon also offers promo packages from time to time that include entrance
fees, lunch, and cottage fee so better check their website so you can make the
most out of your stay.
The best part about this place – no corkage fee for food! Bringing of alcoholic drinks and a one whole lechon on the other hand, do have matching fees. We didn’t bring much food though. We just ordered from their restaurant and have it delivered to our cottage. We brought a few snacks and fruits and of course the main dessert, Mom’s Cake!
And
so we sang the famous birthday song!
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you Happy birthday, Happy birthday, Happy
birthday to you! May God ever bless you. May God ever
bless you. May God ever, May God ever, May God
ever bless you!
As
the day went by the resort got a little crowded not with adults but with kids.
Children were everywhere! But it didn’t stop us to take memorable photos.
It
was a fun day for my mom and to my cutie godchild, Pinky.
All
of us had a great time! Mom’s birthday was a success. We ended the day with a
sumptuous dinner at Majestic Chinese restaurant at SM City Seaside Mall.
More blessings and a good life ahead to you Mom, We Love You!!
‘Till next time.
Ciao!
Ciao!
